The Miracle on the Hudson is one of the most traumatic events to happen in aviation in recent history. On January 15th, 2009, US Airways Flight 1549 had to make an emergency descent into the Hudson River after experiencing engine failure. Dave Sanderson was the last man off of the plane that day, by choice, ensuring that all passengers made it to safety quickly.
